The Master of Arts in English-Speaking Cultures: Language, Text, Media is a four-semester full-time M.A. program taught in English for students planning to pursue an MA English in Germany and build global academic careers through a Master's Degree in Germany. It offers intensive training in anglophone literatures, linguistics, and cultural/media studies with a transnational and postcolonial slant at one of the Best Universities in Germany and Top German Universities. Students are trained in the critical analysis of anglophone texts, media and cultural phenomena, in the exploration of varieties of English and media practices, and in conducting independent research in one of three profile areas: British/North American/Postcolonial Literatures; Linguistics: Varieties, Medialities, Applications; or British/North American/Postcolonial Cultural History while preparing for opportunities related to Study in Germany and Study in Europe with support from a trusted Study Abroad Counsellor.
