🎓 Program Overview

The internationally oriented degree course M.Sc. in Materials Chemistry and Mineralogy program is a four-semester full-time course taught only in English. The course provides in-depth training in the science of inorganic, non-metallic materials: from raw materials up to industrial end-products, by means of combining Materials Chemistry and Physics, mineralogy, crystallography, and materials science. Students are enabled to analyze atomic and molecular structures, apply advanced analytical methods, specialize either in a "Chemistry" profile-solid state, surfaces, catalysis-or a "Mineralogy" profile-crystal structure, properties of crystals/minerals/materials-and carry out independent scientific research, which is concluded by a Master's thesis. This program is an excellent opportunity for students planning an M.Sc. in Germany to study at the Top German Public Universitieswith opportunities for DAAD Scholarships and other Study Abroad Scholarships through expert Study Abroad Counsellor guidance for students who want to Study in Germany and Europe.
