The B.A. Minor in English and American Studies at the University of Freiburg is a six-semester (3-year) program taught in English. It offers a basic foundation in language, literature, and culture related to the English-speaking world. Graduates with this minor leave the university having developed communicative skills near the native level in English, grounding in linguistics and the diachrony of the English language, along with a grasp of major currents in the literature and culture of both Britain and North America.
