The Innovative Textiles (B.Eng.) at Hof University is an engineering bachelor’s programme opening up a world beyond traditional fabrics. The entire chain of textiles—from fibres and yarns to fabric production, finishing, and all the intervening stages—is included in its teaching of textile chemistry and technical textiles. With the use of laboratories, case studies, and simulations, you will acquire hands-on experience and know how to deal with problems with environmental and economic consciousness. To assist in the creation of innovations for technical textile use in medicine, automotive, aerospace, and other industries, the course also allows you to specialize in fibre composites and advanced textile chemistry.
