The Bachelor of Science in Health Informatics is designed to educate students to become computer scientists specialised in the healthcare sector. You will combine informatics-based, medical, scientific and technical knowledge to design, develop, configure, operate and comply with information systems in the health industry. The programme at DIT's European Campus Rottal-Inn, Pfarrkirchen, provides the graduate with the skills necessary to operate medical technology, eHealth applications, and information technology solutions in healthcare companies.

An international school leaving certificate qualifying you for university admission, similar to the German "Hochschulzugangsberechtigung".

Language proficiency is required as the course is conducted in English. An admission exam called the Eignungsfeststellungsverfahren must be passed. It requires prior knowledge in science-based courses, economics, and basic programming.
