The M.A. in Art History and Film Studies is a four-semester full-time Master of Arts programme taught in German. It offers academic rigour combined with application-oriented research and project work in cooperation with archives, collections and cultural institutions. The programme bundles the disciplines of art history/visual culture and film studies in such a way that students can interpret visual art, film and audio-visual culture in their societal and historical contexts, as well as in their conditions of production.
