The Master of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence for Smart Sensors and Actuators is developed for graduates from mechatronics or related engineering fields who wish to become experts in designing, developing and deploying intelligent technical systems integrating sensors, actuators, data processing and AI methods. The programme emphasises machine learning, embedded control, sensor/actuator technology, system networking, data analytics and full-system design of smart hardware-software solutions. Taught in English and aligned with application-oriented learning, it takes place at the Technology Campus Cham of DIT.

Admission Requirements
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mechatronics or a closely related field with minimum 210 ECTS.
Proof of English proficiency and, if German is not your native language, proof of sufficient German skills (in some cases German A2 by end of study)
Successful completion of an aptitude assessment (exam) covering mathematics, physics, electronics & electrical engineering, system theory, control engineering and computer science.
