The Master of Engineering in Mechatronic and Cyber-Physical Systems is designed for graduates of mechatronics or related technical fields who wish to deepen their knowledge of networked, intelligent systems within digital production. It covers important topics such as modern simulation systems, cooperative and autonomous systems, creative human-machine interfaces, additive manufacturing techniques, and functional safety of software-based control and automation systems. The study location is the Cham campus for the summer intake and the Deggendorf campus for the winter intake.

It focuses on cyber-physical systems, smart manufacturing, and digital production technologies.
Requirements for Admission
It requires a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Technical Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related areas of study with at least 210 ECTS.
Admission assessment (aptitude test) covering mathematics, physics, electronics & electrical engineering, systems theory, control engineering and computer science. The test is offered online and/or on campus.
If previous degree from a non-Lisbon-Convention country, a GRE/GATE certificate is recommended.
English language proficiency required; German language skill (at least A2) by end of study may be required.
