The key objective of the Master of Science in Applied Computer Science is to further develop and extend the knowledge that students acquired in their bachelor studies in computer science and electrical engineering, focusing on topics such as embedded systems, automation and digitization, and complex hardware-software systems. Students are prepared for demanding development, research, and project-planning tasks in the high-tech fields of embedded hardware systems, smart devices, automation and IoT. This curriculum, with its elective tracks to customise specialisation, puts much emphasis on academic underpinnings and application-oriented abilities.

The language of instruction is English - German/English mix is possible.

Requirements for Admission

Admission requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications in computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or a relevant field. Language proficiency: B2 in English; German A2 may also be required from time to time.
