The Master of Science in Applied Geosciences is a four-semester full-time programme taught primarily in English (with some German language components) that allows you to deepen your geoscientific expertise in continental Earth-system fields such as hydrogeology, engineering geology, glaciology and renewable energy resources. The curriculum emphasises a practical, method-oriented approach — including fieldwork, laboratory work, digital applications and scientific project training — and culminates in a master’s thesis, equipping graduates to operate both scientifically and professionally in a broad range of geoscience fields.
