The Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy is a full-time four-semester postgraduate degree taught in German. It gives students intense training in diagnostics, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders, meeting the requirements for a state licence to practise as a psychotherapist. It teaches scientific methods, therapy practice in outpatient clinics and cooperating facilities, and professional training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as behaviour therapy, psychodynamic methods, and systemic therapy.
