The M.Sc.-Master of Science in Physical Geography: Environmental History is an English taught, full-time four-semester program. It offers specialized training in environmental and climate history, combining natural science methods from the fields of physical geography, geosciences, and environmental physics with essential social sciences components, including archaeology and human geography, to enable analysis of how past environmental changes shaped nature and society. It will prepare students for reconstructing environmental archives, making use of GIS and modelling tools, doing field and lab work, and assessing natural-anthropogenic interaction and future environmental scenarios.
